Every order is prepared with care and shipped with tracking.

Most pieces in the Matchday Culture archive are one-off items. Once a shirt leaves the archive, it is carefully packed, protected and sent to the address provided at checkout.

Shipping

We currently ship only within the European Union.

All orders are shipped from Portugal with tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking information.

Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the destination, carrier and time of year.

Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout before payment.

Order processing

Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

During campaign periods, launches or high-volume weeks, processing times may be slightly longer.

Where we ship

Matchday Culture currently ships to countries within the European Union only.

We do not currently ship to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States or any destination outside the European Union.

Some territories with special customs, tax or carrier restrictions may not be available at checkout.

Returns

You have the right to return your order within 14 days after receiving it. This follows EU consumer rules for online purchases, where consumers generally have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason.

Please include your order number and the item you wish to return.

After contacting us, the item must be sent back without undue delay.

Return condition

Returned items must be sent back in the same condition in which they were received.

Because most pieces are pre-owned, vintage or archive items, they must not be worn beyond trying them on, washed, altered, damaged or used after delivery.

If the item is returned with signs of use or handling beyond what is necessary to check its nature, characteristics and fit, a deduction may be made from the refund to reflect any loss in value. Portuguese distance-selling rules allow the consumer to inspect the item with care, but also allow responsibility for depreciation if handling goes beyond what would normally be accepted in a physical store.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is incorrect, faulty or not as described.

EU consumer guidance also states that, during the 14-day withdrawal period, the customer is generally responsible for return postage unless the seller offers to pay it or failed to inform the customer in advance.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service for returns.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and checked, we will process the refund using the original payment method.

Refunds are processed within the legal timeframe. EU guidance states that refunds must be given within 14 days of receiving the cancellation, although the seller may wait until the goods are received back or until proof of return is provided.

Please note that payment providers and banks may take additional time to make the refund visible in your account.

Incorrect, faulty or not as described items

Every piece is reviewed, photographed and described before being listed.

One-off archive pieces

Most shirts in the archive are single pieces.

This means exchanges are usually not possible, because we may not have the same shirt in another size or condition.

If a return is accepted, the item may return to the archive after inspection.

We would rather help you choose carefully than have you guess.
