1. About Matchday Culture
Matchday Culture is an online store based in Portugal, dedicated to original football shirts and selected archive pieces.
Most pieces available on the website are pre-owned, vintage, used or one-off items. Some pieces may be unworn or new with tags when clearly stated on the product page.
Each piece is selected, reviewed, photographed and described before being listed.
2. Products
We make every effort to describe each product as clearly and accurately as possible.
Product pages may include information such as team, season, brand, size, measurements, condition, visible flaws, signs of wear and other relevant details.
Because most pieces are pre-owned or vintage, signs of age, wear, fading, cracking, pulls, marks or small imperfections may be present. These details are part of the nature of archive football shirts and will be described whenever relevant.
Product images are part of the product description. Please review all photos, measurements and condition notes before purchasing.
3. Authenticity
Matchday Culture only sells original football shirts.
Every piece is reviewed before being listed. We check details such as labels, materials, badges, sponsor applications, construction, product details when available, and overall consistency with the shirt’s era, brand and model.
If there is doubt about authenticity, the piece does not enter the archive.
If new information raises a serious authenticity concern after purchase, please contact us so we can review the case.
4. Sizing and measurements
Football shirt sizing can vary between brands, eras, countries, models, fan versions, player-fit versions and previous use.
For this reason, each piece is measured individually.
The label size is shown whenever available, but measurements should be used as the main reference for fit. We recommend comparing the measurements on the product page with a shirt you already own and like.
Measurements are taken by hand and may vary slightly.
5. Prices
All prices are shown in euros (€).
Prices may change without notice. The price charged is the price displayed at checkout when the order is placed.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout before payment.
If there is an obvious pricing error, technical error or stock error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the amount paid.
6. Orders
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
An order is accepted once payment has been successfully completed and the order has been confirmed.
Because most products are one-off pieces, availability is limited. If, due to a stock or technical error, an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for that item.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, incorrect information, abusive behaviour, technical error or breach of these Terms of Service.
7. Payment
Payments are processed securely through the payment methods available at checkout.
Matchday Culture does not store full payment card details.
By placing an order, you confirm that the payment information provided is valid and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
8. Shipping
Matchday Culture currently ships only within the European Union.
All orders are shipped from Portugal with tracking.
Estimated delivery times depend on the destination, carrier and time of year. Delivery estimates are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
We do not currently ship to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, the United States or any destination outside the European Union.
Some territories with special tax, customs or carrier restrictions may not be available at checkout.
9. Delivery and risk
We will send tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
Please make sure the shipping address provided at checkout is correct and complete.
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, failed delivery attempt or non-collection, we will contact you to arrange the next step. Additional shipping costs may apply.
For orders shipped to consumers, the risk of loss or damage normally transfers when the customer, or a third party indicated by the customer, receives physical possession of the goods. Portuguese law follows this principle for goods sent by the seller.
10. Returns and right of withdrawal
For online purchases, consumers in the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

Please include your order number and the item you wish to return.
Returned items must be sent back in the same condition in which they were received. They must not be worn beyond trying them on, washed, altered, damaged or used after delivery.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is incorrect, faulty or not as described.
Once the returned item has been received and checked, we will process the refund using the original payment method.

11. Legal conformity and used goods
Matchday Culture is responsible for delivering goods that match the product description and comply with applicable consumer law.
Most pieces sold by Matchday Culture are pre-owned, vintage or used goods. Their condition, visible wear and relevant flaws are described before purchase.
For pre-owned or used goods, and by agreement between Matchday Culture and the customer through acceptance of these Terms of Service, the legal conformity period is reduced to 18 months, as permitted under Portuguese law for used movable goods.
This does not affect your legal rights if an item is incorrect, faulty or not as described.
In case of lack of conformity, the consumer may have the right to repair, replacement, price reduction or contract termination, subject to the conditions set out by applicable law.
Because most archive pieces are one-off items, replacement with the same product may not be possible.
12. Product care
Football shirts, especially vintage or pre-owned pieces, should be handled with care.
We recommend washing inside out, at low temperature, avoiding tumble drying, avoiding ironing over prints, badges or sponsors, and following the care label whenever available.
Matchday Culture is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, ironing, storage or use after delivery.
13. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, photography, layout, design, branding, logos and visual assets, belongs to Matchday Culture or is used with permission.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
14. Website use
You agree not to use this website in any way that may damage, interrupt, overload or compromise the website, its security or its normal operation.
You must not attempt to access restricted areas, interfere with checkout, misuse forms, submit false information or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
15. Privacy
Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
By using this website or placing an order, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed for purposes such as order fulfilment, payment, shipping, customer support, returns, legal compliance and, where consent is given, marketing.

Consumers may also use Alternative Dispute Resolution entities for consumer disputes. The Portuguese electronic complaints book website provides a list of consumer arbitration centres.
The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform should not be included as an active dispute link, because the European Commission states that the ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.
17. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms of Service limits or excludes any rights that consumers have under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, Matchday Culture is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of opportunity, loss of data, website interruptions, third-party service failures or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on this page. The version applicable to your purchase is the version available at the time your order is placed.
